Properties

Fluorosilicic acid is an inorganic fluorine fungicide. The technical drug is colorless, transparent and acidic solution, which is formed by the reaction of silicon tetrafluoride with water. Fluorosilicic acid has disinfection performance and can corrode glass, ceramics, lead and other metals. It should be stored in containers made of iron, wax or plastic. It is used for metal electroplating, wood anti-corrosion, beer disinfection, etc. It is also the raw material for preparing fluosilicate and silicon tetrafluoride.
