Physicochemical properties
Light yellow solid or viscous substance. Slightly pungent smell, soluble in water, viscous liquid after dissolution, soluble in isopropanol, ethanol aqueous solution. Acid resistance, hard water resistance and inorganic salt resistance, but not alkali resistance. It reacts with strong alkali to form quaternary amine base.
