3、 Purpose:
It is an admixture to improve the octane number of "unleaded" gasoline. It is also an important raw material for the production of isoprene; Isopentene and isoprene can be prepared by dehydrogenation. Isopentenol is prepared by chlorination and hydrolysis. It is the raw material and solvent of organic synthesis. It is used in organic synthesis and also as a solvent.
4、 Precautions
Pentane foaming agent refers to the n-pentane and isopentane foaming agent in the national standard. The n-pentane and isopentane in the product are produced separately during product production and meet the product quality index in Item 2. When used, they can be used as foaming agent alone or mixed into a specific proportion of foaming agent according to the requirements of customers, but they all meet the above quality requirements. Pentane foaming agent is flammable. Steam and air can form an explosive mixture. In case of open fire, it is very easy to burn and explode in high heat. Therefore, the storage place should be stored separately from oxygen, compressed air and oxidant. It should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse. It should not be close to the heat source. It is strictly prohibited to be exposed to the sun and rain. There shall be sufficient fire-fighting measures for storage.
