CAS:10294-56-1
Molecular formula:H3O3P
Molecular weight:82
Physicochemical properties: phosphite, inorganic compound, easily soluble in water and alcohol. Slowly oxidized to orthophosphoric acid in air. It is decomposed into phosphine and orthophosphoric acid at 180 ℃. Corrosive. Phosphite is a dibasic acid, which is slightly more acidic than phosphoric acid. It has strong reducibility. It is easy to reduce silver ion (Ag +) to metal silver (Ag), and can reduce sulfuric acid to sulfur dioxide.
Uses: phosphite is mainly used as reducing agent, nylon whitening agent, phosphite raw material, pesticide intermediate and raw material of organophosphorus water treatment agent.
