Betaine CAB-35

Introducation

Betaine cab-35 is a kind of zwitterionic surfactant. It has excellent stability under acidic and alkaline conditions. It presents cationic and anionic properties respectively. It is often used together with anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants. Its compatibility is good. It is small in irritation, soluble in water, stable in acid and alkali, strong in foam and strong in detergency. It has excellent thickening, softness, bactericidal, antistatic and hard water resistance. It can significantly improve the softness, conditioning and low-temperature stability of washing products.

Production process

Coconut oil was used as raw material to produce PKO by condensation with N and N dimethylpropanediamine, and then reacted with sodium chloroacetate (prepared from monochloroacetic acid and sodium carbonate) quaternization to prepare coconut amidopropyl betaine. The yield was about 90%.

Performance and Application

This product is an amphoteric surfactant, which has good cleaning, foaming and conditioning effects, and has good compatibility with anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants.

This product is small in irritation, mild in performance, and delicate and stable foam. It is suitable for shampoo, shower gel and cleansing cream, and can enhance softness of hair and skin.

When combined with an appropriate amount of anionic surfactant, this product has obvious thickening effect. It can also be used as conditioner, wetting agent, bactericide, antistatic agent, etc.

Because this product has good foaming effect, it is widely used in oil field production. Its main function is to use viscosity reducer, oil displacement agent and foam agent to make full use of its surface activity, to infiltrate, penetrate and peel crude oil in oily mud, so as to increase the recovery rate of three.
