It is the needles of Siberian Korean pine, black pine, Chinese pine, Korean pine, Huashan pine, Yunnan pine, Simao Pine and Masson pine.

Preparation method:

It is obtained from the fresh twigs and needles of Pinaceae pine by steam distillation.

Unstable to acid and alkali. Soluble in most non-volatile oils, almost insoluble in glycerol and slightly soluble in water. Soluble in mineral oil and propylene glycol, but milky white or turbid.
