Purpose:
Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (ddac) is a mothproof agent for wool products. It can control insect diseases and is used as disinfectant and bactericide in health and civil use. Ddac is one of the third generation products of quaternary ammonium salt bactericide. Its killing ability to microorganisms is significantly higher than that of the first and second generation products. It can be used in oilfield water injection and industrial circulating cooling water system as bactericide and algicide. When used for moth proofing of wool fabrics, it can be filled, impregnated or sprayed. When used as a bactericide to treat hard surfaces, it can be combined with chlorine dioxide.
