Vologlipide is an oral hypoglycemic agent that can improve postprandial hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus. It is successfully developed by Japan's Takeda company. α- The mechanism of glucosidase inhibitors is that they inhibit the disaccharide hydrolase which decomposes the disaccharide into monosaccharide( α- Glucosidase), thus delaying the digestion and absorption of sugar, thereby improving postprandial hyperglycemia. The exhaled hydrogen was measured after sucrose loading in healthy adults. The results showed that the drug had inhibitory effect on the increase of blood glucose in clinical dosage.
