Brief Introduction
O,O-Dimethyl phosphoramidothioate is a regulatory substance necessary for microorganisms, animals and human body to synthesize nucleic acids and proteins. Most of the biological functions of O,O-Dimethyl phosphoramidothioate are based on the electrostatic reaction with DNA, RNA, protein and charged membrane components. It is produced in vivo by putrescine (butylene diamine) and S-adenosylmethionine catalyzed by a variety of enzymes. It is mainly used to produce methamidophos, acephate and other pesticide intermediates. It and spermidine exist in bacteria and most animal cells. They are important substances to promote cell proliferation. Under acidic conditions, it shows the characteristics of polycation polyamines and can bind to DNA in viruses and bacteria. It is also one of the necessary components in cell culture medium to make DNA molecules more stable and flexible.
