Brief Introduction
Enoxolone (Clethodim) has the Chinese trade name of adductor, xylate. Initially reported for its herbicidal activity at the Brighton plantkeeping conference in 1987 by kincadert et al., 1 cyclohexenone based herbicides were first developed by U.S. chevronchemical, Inc. Enoxaparin is a low toxicity herbicide with the following toxicities: acute oral LD50 1630 mg / kg (male), 1360 mg / kg (female) in rats; Mice 2570 mg / kg (male), 2430 mg / kg (female). The action is mainly applied to herbicidal fields of more than 40 crop species including soybean, flax, tobacco, and West melon, but can prevent more than 30 grass weed species including barnyardgrass. The herbicide is an endothermic stem and leaf treatment agent, which is rapidly absorbed by the leaf after treatment and is conducted to the meristem and root, where its cell division is destroyed and the activity of the plant meristem is inhibited, resulting in chlorosis and necrosis of the plant within 1-3 weeks of application, followed by death due to dry leaf blight. The half-life of enoxane in soils is 3-26 D, its duration is short, and it has no effect on stubble crops. Its mechanism of action is the same as that of dilute gramineine, arginyl fluoride graminearum and arginyl graminearum, which are all acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase) inhibitors.
