Brief Introduction
Acrylonitrile is an important monomer of synthetic fiber, synthetic rubber and synthetic resin. Polyacrylonitrile fiber (acrylic fiber) is made from acrylonitrile. Its performance is very similar to wool, so it is also called (synthetic wool). Nitrile rubber can be prepared by copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It has good oil resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance and electrical insulation, and its performance is relatively stable under most chemical solvents, sunlight and heat. ABS resin prepared by copolymerization of acrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene has the advantages of light weight, cold resistance and good impact resistance. Acrylamide, acrylic acid and their esters can be prepared by hydrolysis of acrylonitrile. They are important organic chemical raw materials. Acrylonitrile can also be prepared by electrolytic hydrogenation coupling to produce adiponitrile, and hexanediamine can be prepared by hydrogenation of adiponitrile. Hexanediamine is the raw material of nylon 66. It can be used to make water-resistant agent and adhesive, also used in other organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industries, and used as grain fumigant. In addition, this product is also an aprotic polar solvent.
