Ammonium sulfate, also known as ammonium sulfate, is the earliest nitrogen fertilizer produced and used at home and abroad. It is usually regarded as standard nitrogen fertilizer, and the nitrogen content is between 20% ~ 30%. Ammonium sulfate is a strong acid weak alkali salt, and the aqueous solution is acidic. Ammonium sulfate is a kind of nitrogen fertilizer and acid fertilizer in inorganic fertilizer. It is used alone for a long time, which makes the soil acidified and hardened and needs to be improved. Ammonium sulfate cannot be used to produce organic fertilizer. Moreover, acid fertilizer can not be used with alkaline fertilizer, and double hydrolysis is easy to lose fertilizer efficiency. In the 1960s, ammonium sulfate was the main variety of nitrogen fertilizer and one of the main sources of elemental sulfur providing crop nutrition . It was first made by neutralization with ammonia and sulfuric acid, but later the proportion of by-product ammonium sulfate became larger and larger. Now, all domestic by-products basically come from other industries, such as coking industry, caprolactam, sulfuric acid tail gas desulfurization, power plant desulfurization, acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate, zinc oxide and other by-products. The by-product ammonium sulfate follows the principle of "treating waste with waste", realizes the comprehensive utilization of waste and achieves the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction. Especially with the breakthrough of ammonia desulfurization project technology, the output of ammonium sulfate, the by-product of desulfurization in power plant, will increase significantly in the future.

Lufenuron is the active ingredient in the veterinary flea control medication Program, and one of the two active ingredients in the flea, heartworm, and anthelmintic medicine milbemycin oxime/lufenuron (Sentinel). Lufenuron is stored in the animal's body fat and transferred to adult fleas through the host's blood when they feed. Adult fleas transfer it to their growing eggs through their blood, and to hatched larvae feeding on their excrement. It does not kill adult fleas.; Lufenuron, a benzoylurea pesticide, inhibits the production of chitin in insects. Without chitin, a larval flea will never develop a hard outer shell (exoskeleton). With its inner organs exposed to air, the insect dies from dehydration soon after hatching or molting (shedding its old, smaller shell).; Lufenuron is also used to fight fungal infections, since fungus cell walls are about one third chitin. Lufenuron is also sold as an agricultural pesticide for use against lepidopterans, eriophid mites, and western flower thrips. It is an effective antifungal in plants.

Ammonium chloride (chemical formula: NH4Cl) is colorless cubic crystal or white crystal. It tastes salty, cool and slightly bitter. It is easily soluble in water and liquid ammonia and slightly soluble in alcohol, but insoluble in acetone and ether. The aqueous solution is weakly acidic and the acidity increases when heated. Due to the coordination of ammonium ions, the ammonium chloride solution is corrosive to metals, especially copper.

It is used to produce hydrogenation, desulfurization and other petroleum refining catalysts, trace element fertilizers, and raw materials for manufacturing ceramic pigments, pigments and other molybdenum compounds.
