Brief Introduction

This product is the hydrochloride of marbofloxacin. Mabofloxacin is a fungicide, and its bactericidal activity is concentration dependent. Sensitive bacteria can die 20 ~ 30 rain after exposure. Like other fluoroquinolones, mapofloxacin showed significant post antibiotic effects on Gram-negative and positive bacteria, and was active in the quiescent and growing stages of bacterial replication. Its mechanism of action is not completely clear, but it is believed that it can play a role by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase (type II topoisomerase) and preventing DNA super helix formation and DNA synthesis.
