Brief Introduction
P-benzaldehyde is an important fine chemical raw material downstream of p-xylene. Because there are two active aldehyde groups in its molecular structure, it can self polymerize or copolymerize with other monomers to form polymer materials. It is mainly used to synthesize fluorescent materials, catalyst carriers and other polymer products. The traditional production method of p-benzaldehyde is to chlorinate p-xylene and then hydrolyze it under the action of nitric acid or metal oxide.
