They can be used as crosslinking agents for baking coatings, and can be mixed with alkyd resin and acrylic resin to make coatings. In addition, the hydroxymethyl compound of benzyl melamine can be mixed with urea formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin and melamine formaldehyde resin to make molding materials.
