Magnesium aluminum silicate is often used as thickening agent, and is also a good emulsion stabilizer and suspending agent. The combination of organic glue and aluminum magnesium silicate can give full play to their best characteristics. It can be used for the bonding of different powders (talc powder, pigment and medicine). It is a disintegrating agent for tablets. Magnesium aluminum silicate is a hydrophilic colloid and pseudoplastic flow property. It is a viscosity improver and thickener for cream, emulsion shampoo and hair care products. It can suspend and disperse powdery pigment to make the product get the best color and texture. As a thickener of toothpaste, it can be used in combination with CMC to improve the thixotropy and dispersion of toothpaste. Magnesium aluminum silicate can also be effectively used in drugs, can control the dumping performance of oral suspension and emulsion colloid, and help to obtain uniform dose products. It can also be used in tablet production. Friction agent and stable emulsification can be suspended in metal and automobile polishing agent, ceramic tile and glass cleaner. Used in white shoe polish to suspend pigment to prevent product from hardening.
