Nickel(Ⅱ) Hydroxide; Nickel(+2)Hydroxide; Nickel Hydroxide; Ni(Oh)2; Niekelous Hydroxide
Brief Introduction
The chemical formula of nickel hydroxide is Ni(OH)2、NiO·xH2O. Green hexagonal crystal. Slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in acid and ammonia, insoluble in liquid ammonia. When heating, dehydrate slowly to 230 ℃, most of them will become nickel oxide (II), and red heat is required for complete dehydration. It cannot be oxidized in air or hydrogen peroxide, but it is easy to form nickel hydroxide (ⅲ) in ozone. Under alkaline conditions, it can be oxidized by chlorine and bromine, but not by iodine.
