Brief Introduction
Sodium pyrosulfate is the sodium salt of pyrosulfuric acid, which can be prepared by heating and decomposition with sodium bisulfate. Sulfur trioxide is produced in the reaction, and then reacts with the sodium sulfate produced by decomposition to obtain sodium pyrosulfate. It can be used to dissolve insoluble metal oxides because it can obtain soluble sulfate by CO melting with metal oxides.
