Molecular Formula:C19H18O8
Brief Introduction
Methyl rosmarinate is a derivative of rosmarinic acid. It widely exists in Rabdosia rubescens, Vitex negundo, Panax ginseng, Xihuangcao and perilla. The difference from rosmarinic acid mainly lies in the side chain carboxyl esterification chemical book. The pharmacological activity of methyl rosmarinate showed that the activity of methyl rosmarinate was stronger than that of rosmarinic acid in anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and anti proliferation of cardiovascular smooth muscle cells in vitro.
