[Properties] white powder. It gradually absorbs water in the air and becomes a monohydrate. The relative density is 2.532 g / cm3. Decomposition began at 400 ℃. Melting point: 851 ℃, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is alkaline.
