Uses

Chemical raw materials: Melamine is an important nitrogen heterocyclic organic chemical raw material, mainly used to manufacture melamine formaldehyde resin (MF), which is a melamine plastic widely used in the manufacturing of daily utensils, decorative panels, fabric finishing agents, etc. Meanwhile, melamine is also used as a tanning and filling agent in the synthesis of organic and resin materials, as well as in leather processing.

Flame retardants and cleaning agents: Melamine is the most commonly used gas source for intumescent flame retardants and is commonly used in the preparation of various flame retardant components, such as phosphates, trimeric cyanates, etc. It is often compounded with other flame retardants to flame retardant various plastics and other high polymers. In addition, melamine can also be used as a formaldehyde cleaner.

Agricultural application: In the agricultural field, melamine can be used as a plant nutrient source to promote plant growth and development.

Paper and textile industry: Melamine can be used as a curing agent for pulp, improving the performance of paper, such as producing high-quality paper such as wrinkle resistant, shrink resistant, and non rotting banknotes and military maps.
