The product is beige, clean, irregular light particles, high strength, less dust, high porosity, large adsorption capacity, fire prevention and skid resistance, non-toxic and harmless (to people, animals and plants). Its adsorption mechanism is physical osmotic adsorption. It is chemically inert to all liquids except hydrofluoric acid. Therefore, it can absorb oil, acid, alkali, water and various solvents. Even when it reaches saturated adsorption, the particles will not dissolve and disperse.

This product does not contain any chemical additives and is a pure natural environmental friendly porous mineral adsorbent. It is mainly used to absorb various oils, chemicals and toxic, harmful and odorous liquids in chemical storage, sub packaging and leakage treatment, so as to deodorize and prevent accidents such as fire, personal and property injury such as personnel and vehicle sideslip and environmental pollution caused by leakage.

Product application scope:

(1). Prevention and protection industry: in the prevention and protection first aid project, it is mainly used for the absorption, control and cleaning of oil spills on the ground and solid surfaces (except hydrofluoric acid), dangerous (strong) chemicals, toxic and harmful liquids, commonly known as "ground desiccant", "ground adsorbent", "oil absorption sand" and "overflow absorbent". It is one of the necessary first-aid adsorbents for emergency treatment centers of governments at all levels, road traffic accident rescue centers, waste disposal departments and industrial and mining enterprises. It is especially suitable for the following departments and places: oil refining, oil extraction, machinery repair, automobile maintenance, bus station, railway station, wharf, ship, oil depot, gas station, garage, aircraft depot, laboratory, dangerous chemical warehouse, freight company, cleaning company, hardware and electromechanical store, seafood processing farm, slaughterhouse, kitchen, production workshop, sanitation, fire fighting and troops. Adsorb natural and synthetic oils, fats, lubricants, hydrocarbons, pigments, various solvents, blood, vomit and waste penetrant.

The products are divided into five models according to particle size: ultra fine grade, fine grade, medium grade, coarse grade and ultra coarse grade. The product model shall be selected according to the smoothness of the ground or solid surface at the leakage site, environmental and climatic conditions (indoor or outdoor and wind force) and leakage area. Generally speaking, fine-grained grade can be selected for smoother ground and indoor, and fine-grained grade can also be selected as containment partition wall in case of large-area leakage. Coarse grained products can be selected for rough ground and surface or outdoor, and extra coarse-grained products can be selected for roads and outdoor ground with strong wind force. When in use, sprinkle the product directly on the leakage liquid (material) to cover it completely, give 5 to 10 minutes of adsorption residence time, and then stir the product with a broom to make full contact with the leakage liquid and keep it for another 5 minutes. Finally, collect with a broom or vacuum cleaner. The recycled products shall be packaged, marked, stored, buried or incinerated according to the relevant regulations of the local government.

(2). Food refrigeration: in the process of cold storage and preservation of commercial and household food, fruits and other agricultural products, diatomite particle adsorbent, as one of the components of cold storage and preservation agent, can absorb the ethylene gas and water released by agricultural products in the process of cold storage, so as to prolong the shelf life of food.

(3). Pet and livestock raising: as Shengzhou diatomite is a freshwater lacustrine sedimentary mineral, it is very suitable for making cat litter (pet litter) to absorb pet excreta (such as urine, feces, etc.) to keep the indoor air fresh and the environment clean. Diatomite is one of the most commonly used non cluster cat litter varieties abroad, because fresh water diatomite will not harm pets and public health safety, and the used cat litter can be recycled as the soil matrix of horticultural pot plants. In addition, diatomite absorbent particles are also used as mattresses in animal pens in chicken, pig, horse, cow, sheep and fur industries. Because granular diatomite is a sterile product calcined at high temperature, it can not only inhibit parasites on livestock, but also control and absorb ammonia and moisture in corral, so as to improve the growth environment of livestock and solve the common problem of odor air pollution in livestock breeding. The diatomite can also be mixed with livestock excreta as organic fertilizer to grow crops.
