Corn Starch
Corn starch is also known as corn starch, also known as bract rice flour. Commonly known as six grain flour. Light yellow powder. Corn is soaked with 0.3% sulphurous acid and made through crushing, screening, precipitation, drying, grinding and other processes. Ordinary products contain a small amount of fat and protein.
Corn starch is a commonly used excipient in tablets. It is often used as filler, disintegrating agent and adhesive of solid preparations. Corn starch is widely used in the preparation of tablets, pills, capsules, powders and pastes.
As far as the pharmaceutical industry is concerned, corn starch is an important raw material for industry, because almost all antibiotics are produced by corn starch fermentation. In addition, another important use of corn starch is as a drug molding agent. In the early stage, most tablets produced by pharmaceutical factories in various countries used corn starch as a filler and adhesive.
