Trimethyl chloro silicane
Molecular formula: (CH3)3SiCl
Product appearance:
Colorless and transparent liquid without mechanical impurities. Volatile irritant liquid.
Product performance:
Trimethyl chloro silicane for industrial use is a colorless and transparent liquid. It emits smoke in humid air and dissolves in phenyl ether. In case of open fire, high heat or contact with oxidant, it may cause combustion and explosion. It decomposes and releases heat when heated or in contact with water, releasing toxic and corrosive hydrogen chloride gas, which is corrosive.
Main purpose:
Trimethyl chloro silicane for industrial use is the main raw material for the production of hexamethyldisilazazane (amine) and hexamethyldisiloxane. This product can be used to prepare alkylating agent, and can also be used as group protective agent (protective group of hydroxyl, carboxyl, amino and other functional groups) in pharmaceutical and chemical production. Another important use is as the capping agent of silicone polymer, which plays the role of adjusting the molecular weight of polymer, especially in the production of silicone oil.
Packing:
Packed in 200L iron drums.
Transportation and storage:
This product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place, avoid contact with acid, alkali, alcohol and water, and pay attention to waterproof, fireproof and heat protection. This product shall be stored and transported as dangerous goods without rain and sunshine during transportation.
