Uses: The mechanism of action of Vonezalene is to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial protein at the ribosome level and also inhibit the synthesis of RNA at high concentrations. It is mainly bacteriostatic, but also bactericidal at high concentrations. It has a wide antibacterial spectrum and is effective against G+ and G- bacteria. It is highly effective against Mycoplasma and Spirochetes, but is less effective against intestinal bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella.
