Properties: This product is bright yellow crystal or yellow powder, odorless, slightly bitter, and the color changes deeply in light. This product is dissolved in acetone, chloroform and benzene, and slightly soluble in water, methanol, ether and petroleum ether.

Pharmacological action: This product is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug, and its antibacterial mechanism is to inhibit the synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of bacteria. It has strong inhibitory effect on most bacteria, stronger effect on Gram-negative bacteria and effective on Treponema.

Function and application: antibacterial. It is mainly used for swine dysentery caused by Treponema, and also for enteritis caused by bacteria.

Usage and dosage: oral: once, 5-10mg per 1kg body weight of cattle and pigs.

Toxicity: This product has low toxicity, good animal tolerance and no carcinogenic and teratogenic effects.

Adverse reactions: when the dosage is 3 ~ 5 times higher than the clinical treatment, or long-term application will cause adverse reactions and even death, and poultry are more sensitive.
