Appearance : It is colorless, transparent to light yellow smoke liquid at normal temperature, with pungent smell, specific gravity of 0.98, slightly lighter than water, boiling point of 19.4 ℃, very volatile, and white smoke when placed in the air.

Purpose: It is the raw material for the production of refrigerant "Freon", fluorine-containing resin, organic fluoride and fluorine. It can be used as catalyst for alkylation, polymerization, condensation, isomerization and other organic synthesis in chemical production. It is also used to corrode the stratum when mining some deposits, as well as the extraction of rare earth elements and radioactive elements. In the atomic energy industry and nuclear weapons production, it is not only the raw material for manufacturing uranium hexafluoride, but also the raw material for producing rocket fuel and additives. It can also be used to corrode glass and impregnate wood.

It is also used as a catalyst for dye synthesis and other organic synthesis. It is also used in electroplating, reagent, fermentation, ceramic treatment and the manufacture of fluororesin and flame retardant.
