Product overview: vinylidene chloride, also known as 1,1-dichloroethylene (VDC for short), with molecular formula of C2H2Cl2, is a colorless, volatile and pungent liquid. The product index of 1,1-dichloroethylene produced by our company meets the technical requirements of Hg / t4628-2014.
Product application: vinylidene chloride is the main monomer for the production of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) products, and it is also an important intermediate for the production of CFC substitutes. It plays a very important role in medicine, dyes and other industries and has a wide range of uses.
Vinylidene chloride can react with anthraquinone, adamantane, quinoline and acyl chloride to produce insecticides, acaricides, herbicides and vat dye intermediates.
Precautions: vinylidene chloride for industrial use has the characteristics of self polymerization, and polymerization inhibitor will be added appropriately. Clean and dry heat preservation tank car with nitrogen purging and replacement shall be used for packaging, and the packaging container must be firm and tight.
Vinylidene chloride, i.e. 1,1-dichloroethylene, is an intermediate for the preparation of methyl dichloroinulin by vinylidene chloride method. In addition to its own polymerization, the product can also form copolymers with chlorine ethylene, acrylonitrile, butadiene, methacrylic acid, methyl methacrylate and other substances, which are applied in polymer industry and film industry.
