Product overview: the molecular formula of 1,1,2-trichloroethane is C2H3Cl3. It is colorless and transparent liquid with aromatic smell. It is insoluble in water and can be miscible with organic solvents such as alcohol, ether, chloroform, acetone, ethyl acetate and carbon tetroxide. The toxicity is greater than that of 1,1,1-trichloroethane; It can irritate eyes and mucous membranes, and has anesthetic effect at high concentration.
Product application: the product is a good solvent and chemical raw material. It is an important raw material for the production of sucralose. It is also used as advanced cleaning agent for electronic equipment, decontamination agent for fiber fabrics, organic extractant, intermediate for the preparation of dye AIDS, anesthetics, pesticides and medicine, and raw material for the synthesis of 1,1-dichloroethylene.
Storage: products shall be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse away from kindling and heat sources. Keep the container sealed. It shall be stored separately from oxidants, alkalis, aluminum, magnesium, edible chemicals or food additives, and mixed storage shall not be allowed
Precautions: when the concentration of 1,1,2-trichloroethane in the air exceeds the standard, you should wear a filtered gas mask. Avoid inhalation of 1,1,2-trichloroethane and contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse with a large amount of flowing water and seek medical treatment.
It is mainly used as solvent of fat, resin, wax and alkaloid, intermediate of rubber and resin, pesticide, preparation of 1,1-dichloroethylene and other chemicals
