DOP
Chemical name: DOP
Molecular formula: C₂₄H₃₈O₄
Molecular weight: 390.6g/mole
Introduction to DOP features and uses:
DOP has good compatibility with PVC and high plasticizing efficiency. It is currently the largest and most widely used plasticizer. Due to its excellent processing properties, it is the main plasticizer for general soft PVC products. Physical properties are stable and easy to store. Excellent electrical properties, widely used in wire and cable, rubber tape, gloves, rubber shoes and so on.

Shopping ideas:
When shipped, it can be supplied in tank trucks or 53 gallons (200kg) steel oil drums according to customer needs; bulk customers can choose to pick up the goods by themselves or by delivery.
Storage method:
When storing in the storage tank, nitrogen must be passed through to prevent moisture absorption. If the product is sampled from a barrel, it should be sealed immediately to avoid moisture absorption and stored indoors or horizontally.
Di-n-octyl phthalate appears as a clear liquid with a mild odor. Slightly less dense than water and insoluble in water. Hence floats on water. Flash point 430°F. The primary hazard is the threat to the environment. Immediate steps should be taken to limit its spread to the environment. As a liquid, can easily penetrate the soil and contaminate groundwater and nearby streams. Eye contact may produce severe irritation and direct skin contact may produce mild irritation. Used in the manufacture of a variety of plastics and coating products.
