Arginine, also known as protein amino acid, is an amino acid compound. This product participates in the ornithine cycle in the human body, promotes the formation of urea, converts the ammonia produced in the human body into non-toxic urea through the ornithine cycle, and is discharged from the urine, so as to reduce the blood ammonia concentration. This product has a high concentration of hydrogen ions, which is helpful to correct the acid-base balance in hepatic encephalopathy.
Purpose:
1. For biochemical research, all kinds of liver coma and viral liver alanine aminotransferase abnormalities.
2. As a nutritional supplement and flavoring agent. Special flavor substances can be obtained by heating reaction with sugar (amino carbonyl reaction). GB 2760-2001 stipulates that spices for food are allowed to be used.
3. Arginine is an essential amino acid to maintain the growth and development of infants. It is an intermediate metabolite of ornithine cycle, which can promote the transformation of ammonia into urea, so as to reduce the content of blood ammonia. It is also the main component of sperm protein, which can promote sperm production and provide sperm movement energy. In addition, intravenous arginine can stimulate the pituitary to release growth hormone, which can be used in pituitary function test.
Arginine is a basic amino acid. It is an essential amino acid in human body. It can catalyze the ornithine cycle, promote the formation of urea and turn ammonia in human body into non-toxic urea. It is the substrate of endogenous synthesis of nitric oxide, which is generated under the catalysis of synthase and plays a physiological effect. This biochemical process is called nitric oxide pathway. As an intercellular messenger and neurotransmitter, nitric oxide plays an important role in cardiovascular system, central nervous system and peripheral transmission.
