Physical Properties：

A colorless clearly liquid with faint typical odor and soluble easily in solvent such as ethanol, acetone, benzene, toluene etc, insoluble in water, react with water or moisture easily and hydrolyze, flash point is 93℃, boiling point is 219℃, molecular weight is 196.4.

Application：

•HP-189 is widely used as a kind of silane coupling agent containing mercapto group, it can react and crosslink at the same time when it is used.

•It has special effect as a herbicide of metal surface such as gold, silver and copper, it can improve corrosion resistance, antioxidation and improve its adhesive property to polymer.

•It is widely used in thermoplastic and thermoset polymer such as epoxy, hydroxybenzene sulphur, PVC, polystyrene etc.

•It can markedly improve the physical properties and abrasion performance when used in SBR, NR, EPDM, polyurethane rubber, polysulfide rubber, nitrile rubber etc. Especially used for light color production.

•It can be used as reinforcing agent or crosslinking activator for composite material such as fiberglass, coating, printing ink, glue and seal material.

•It can be use for preventing shrinkage of textile fabrics.
