Properties

The product is used to produce rubber antioxidant AW, namely 6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline. It is also used in feed and food to prevent fat and protein from oxidation during storage. It is also used in the preservation of vitamin A, vitamin E and other drugs. As feed and food antioxidants, called ethoxyquine. In medicine, it is used in the production of febrile analgesic phenacetin, antipyretic and antiseptic rivanol. In terms of dyes, it is the intermediate of chromophenol as-vl, alizarin red 5g and fast acid blue R.
