Product introduction:

Hydroxybenzotriazole (HOBt), white crystal, 1n hydroxy substituted derivative of benzotriazole. It is often used as racemization inhibitor in peptide synthesis. When using DCC dehydration condensation to prepare peptides, the chiral center of the substrate can not be well maintained in the product due to the high activity of DCC. Generally, additives such as hydroxybenzotriazole are added to reduce the activity of activated ester and inhibit racemization.
