Action mechanism:
Thiacloprid is a new chloronicotinic insecticide, developed by Bayer agrochemical company of Germany and Bayer agrochemical company of Japan.
The action mechanism of thiamethoxaline is different from that of other traditional insecticides. It mainly acts on the posterior membrane of insect nerve junction. By binding with nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, it interferes with the normal conduction of insect nervous system, causes the blockage of nerve channel, and causes a large accumulation of acetylcholine, so as to make insects abnormally excited and die of systemic spasm and paralysis. It has strong internal absorption, contact killing and stomach toxicity, and has no cross resistance with conventional insecticides such as pyrethroids, organophosphorus and carbamates, so it can be used for resistance management.
