Properties

O-aminophenethyl ether is used in pharmacy, dye making, feed and food. It can prevent fat and protein from oxidation and deterioration during storage. It is also used in the preservation of vitamin A, vitamin E and other drugs. In medicine, o-aminophenethyl ether is used in the production of febrile analgesic phenacetin, antipyretic and antiseptic rivanol. It is also used in the production of dyes such as chromophenol as-vl, alizarin red 5g and fast acid blue R.
