Stevioside R-D is a stevioside rich in rebaudioside D (REB d) and rebaudioside m (REB m). Two steviosides, REB D and REB m, are usually extremely rare in the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana. The content of this stevioside in the new Stevia rebaudiana is 20 times that of ordinary Stevia rebaudiana.

Stevioside is a mixture of eight kinds of sugars with the same diterpenoid ligands. It does not contain sugar and heat. Its color is white to yellowish. It has suitable taste and no peculiar smell.
