Toxicity

The lethal dose of oral 50% mortality in rats is 1180mg/kg (LD50), which is slightly irritated to rabbit skin (method US dot). Its main harm to human body is that it may produce oxidized blood red prion (cyanosis), which may be caused by skin contact or inhalation of steam. Symptoms include headache, weakness, irritability, dyspnea, and loss of consciousness in severe cases. The mouth and lip are purple under the finger cover.
