Synopsis:Gefitinib is a quinazoline epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits the autophosphorylation of tyrosine kinase domain in EGFR cells by competitive binding to ATP and blocks the transmission of downstream signals, so as to inhibit tumor angiogenesis, cell proliferation, invasion and metastasis and promote apoptosis.

Summary
The chemical name of pomadomide is 4-amino-2 - (2,6-dioxo-piperidine-3-yl) - isodihydroindole-1,3-dione. It is a thalidomide analogue and an immunomodulator with antitumor activity. In vitro cytological test, it can inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis of hematopoietic tumor cells. In addition, pomadomide can inhibit the proliferation of lenalidomide resistant multiple myeloma cell lines and induce tumor cell apoptosis in lenalidomide sensitive and lenalidomide resistant cell lines in cooperation with dexamethasone.
