N-Hexane/N-hexano is a linear saturated fatty hydrocarbon obtained from crude oil cracking and fractionation. The appearance is colorless, gasoline flavored, volatile liquid, almost insoluble in water, and easily soluble in chloroform, ether and ethanol. N-hexane is an organic solvent commonly used in rubber food, pharmacy, perfume, shoemaking, adhesive tape, ball making, grinding, leather, textile, furniture, paint industry, dilution, cleaning solvent, or viscose.

Usages of N-Hexane(CAS 110-54-3)

1. N-hexane is used for extraction, such as cleaning in the electronic industry, extractant in the pharmaceutical industry, extractant in various edible oils such as soybean, rice bran and cottonseed, and oil in spices.

2. N-hexane is used as a solvent, propylene polymerization solvent, rubber and coating solvent and pigment diluent.

In cosmetics, mainly as a solvent for cellulose used in cosmetics such as nail polish.

3.
