Properties

Sulfadiazine sodium is a medium effective sulfanilamide drug for the treatment of systemic infection. It has a broad antibacterial spectrum and has inhibitory effect on most Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. It can penetrate into cerebrospinal fluid through blood-brain barrier, especially for Streptococcus (meningitis Streptococcus, pneumonia streptococcus, hemolytic streptococcus) and Toxoplasma gondii. It is the first choice for the treatment of Toxoplasma gondii.
