Sulfaguanidine is a kind of low-grade sulfonamides. It can inhibit bacteria. The molecular structure of sulfamidine has strong basic guanidine group, high dissociation degree and low fat solubility. Although a certain amount of sulfamidine is absorbed from the intestine after oral administration, it is not enough to reach the effective blood concentration, so it is not used for systemic infection. This product is the first choice for the treatment of leprosy. It is suitable for the treatment of various types of leprosy and can improve the clinical symptoms. It can also be used to treat herpetic dermatitis, lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, foot mycosis and malaria.
