Phenobarbital is a sedative hypnotic and anticonvulsant. For anxiety, insomnia, epilepsy and convulsion. Common dosage: 0.015 ~ 0.1g orally once; 0.03 ~ 0.2g a day. Maximum dosage: 0.25g orally once; 0.5g a day.
Note: may cause dependency. It is forbidden for patients with severe liver and renal insufficiency and cirrhosis.
