Gas description

Xenon is an element with a large atomic number (i.e. a heavier element) in an inert gas, and its atomic radius is large. Atomic number 54, peripheral electron arrangement 5s2 5p6, located in group 18 of the fifth cycle (the new regulation of IUPAC, i.e. the original group 0), atomic covalent radius 209 PIM, and the first ionization energy 1172kj/mol. A simple substance consists of monatomic molecules. Rare gas, colorless, odorless and tasteless, with a density of 5.887 kg / m3, a melting point of -111.9 ℃, a boiling point of -107.1 ± 3 ℃, and a solubility of 110.9 ml (volume) per liter of water at 20 ℃. It can absorb X-rays.

Main uses of the product

4. in medicine, xenon is a kind of deep anesthetic without side effects, and a contrast agent for X-ray photography.
