Function | Citrus Bioflavonoids, sometimes called Vitamin P, is part of a large group of antioxidants with the function of preventing Vitamin C from oxidizing. Antioxidants function in the body to eliminate free radicals. Free radicals are incomplete molecules which result from normal body processes, as while as cause damage on the cellular level and, if left unchecked, can lead to premature aging and are thought to contribute to the development of certain degenerative diseases.
