Cyclopyridomide is a new broad-spectrum antifungal drug for external use. It was successfully developed by the Federal German pharmaceutical factory. Its mechanism of action is to change the integrity of fungal cell membrane, cause the outflow of intracellular substances, block the uptake of protein precursors, and lead to the death of fungal cells. It has strong antibacterial and bactericidal effects on dermatophytes, yeasts and molds, and has strong permeability. At higher concentrations, it can also inhibit various actinomycetes, gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia, trichomonas, Trichomonas vaginalis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
