Posaconazole is a derivative of itraconazole. It was the second generation of triazole antifungal drugs listed in FDA in 2006. The trade name is noxafil, and phase III clinical trial is currently under way. The pharmacological effect is the same as that of azole drugs, but compared with itraconazole, it has a stronger inhibitory effect on sterol C14 demethylation, especially on Aspergillus.
This product is suitable for mycoemia caused by Candida and Cryptococcus fungi, respiratory, digestive and urinary tract mycosis, peritonitis, meningitis, etc.
