Product description:
Acrolein is the simplest unsaturated aldehyde. Its chemical formula is C3H4O. Under normal circumstances, it is a colorless, transparent and foul-smelling liquid. Its vapor is very irritating and tearing. It is a very important synthetic intermediate in the chemical industry and is widely used in resin production and organic synthesis.
On October 27, 2017, the list of carcinogens published by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization was preliminarily compiled and referenced. Acrolein was included in the list of three carcinogens (the existing evidence failed to grade human carcinogenicity).
