Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate

Product introduction:

Hydroxypropyl methacrylate is a chemical substance with the chemical formula C₇H₁₂O₃.

Chemical properties: colorless liquid. Boiling point 96 ℃ (1.33kpa), 57 ℃ (66.7pa), relative density 1.066 (25 / 16 ℃), refractive index 1.4470 and flash point 96 ℃. Soluble in general organic solvents, but also soluble in water.

Product purpose:

1.The product is copolymerized with other acrylic monomers to prepare acrylic resin containing active hydroxyl groups. A two-component coating was prepared with melamine formaldehyde resin, diisocyanate and epoxy resin. The product is also used as adhesive for synthetic textiles and additive for decontamination lubricating oil.

2.It is used as active diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing system. It can also be used as resin crosslinking agent, plastic and rubber modifier.

3.Acrylic resin, acrylic paint, textile adhesive and detergent lubricant additive.

4.It can be used to produce thermosetting coatings, adhesives, fiber treatment agents and modifiers of synthetic resin copolymers. It can also be used as one of the main cross-linked functional group monomers used in acrylic resins.
