Application and synthetic method
Proton pump inhibitor | Rabeprazole is a novel benzimidazole proton pump inhibitor, a genus of antiulcer agents, which can be activated within the acidic gastric parietal cells to inhibit gastric acid secretion by bonding with the gastric intraluminal proton pump. Rabeprazole can specifically inhibit the action of triphosphatase adenosine - nase, a key enzyme in gastric acid production. There is an inhibitory effect on both basal gastric acid and gastric acid secretion caused by stimulation. Bioavailability was not affected by food or antacids and there was no interaction with antacids. It is indicated for the treatment of peptic ulcer, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatic ulcer syndrome and reflux esophagitis, and synergistically treats Helicobacter pylori infection. The possibility of malignant lesions should be excluded before use. |
